Queridos hermanos en Cristo.


Espero que se encuentren bien ustedes de salud al iguan que todos en su familia.

Las últimas noticias que tenemos actualmente son:



Dear brothers in Christ.
I hope that you and your families are all found to be in good health. The latest news that we have right now is:


1. Ilse estará predicando a mujeres en un retiro los dias viernes y sabado (20-21)

la invitaron para que predique i tambien estarán asistiendo las mujeres de la iglesia en Gto..

2. El dia 23-25 tendremos la visita de Masha una AIMER de Rusia estaremos buscando que ella quiera quedarse a trabajar con las jovenes de aquí.

3. El dia 25 en la tarde tendremos la visita de Les Fergunson y John Pig predicador de Richmond TN. ellos estarán visitando a las demas iglesias en Gto.
1. Ilse will be preaching to the women in a retreat on this Friday and Saturday (20-21) they invited her to come and preach, and the women from the church here in Guanajuato will be attending too.


2. On the 23rd - 25th we will have a visit from Masha, an AIMer from Russia. We will be finding out if she wants to stay here to work with the youth.


3. On the 25th in the afternoon, we will have the visit from Les Ferguson and John Pigg, a preacher from Richmond, TN. They will be visiting the other churches in Guanajuato state as well.


4. el dia 26 Ilse cumple años y las hermanas estan planeando algo para mi esposa.

5. El dia 1-2 de Julio vendra a visitarnos un joven llamado Abram Rayo, el es graduado del ILEB en Mexico D.F. tiene 22 años y es un joven activo y dinámico en su congregación, lo estamos invitando a venir a trabajar unos meses con nuestrao jovenes (actualmente ya son 5 y queremos empezar un ministerioncon ellos, pues tambien son importantes)

Ustedes saben que desde hacer mucho estamos orando y pidiendo que Dios envie la ayuda para los muchachos de aquí y al parecer estas dos personas pueden ser unas buenas opciones.

4.On the 26th Ilse has her birthday and the sisters are planning something for her.


5. On the 1st and 2nd of June a young man name Abram Rayo is coming to visit us. He is a greaduate of ILEB in Mexico City. He is 22 years old and is an active and dynamic young man in his congregation. We are hoping to invite him to come work with our youth for several months (at this time we have 5 youths and we hope to start a ministry with them because they are important, too.)


You all know that we have been praying for a long time asking God to send us help for the youth and it seems that these two people will be good options.

Queridos hermanos en Cristo


Paz, Misericordia y Gracia de Dios Padre y de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con todos ustedes.

Este es el reporte de lo que ha estado pasando estas ultimas semanas.

El dia 3 de Abril tuvimos una asistencia de 35 personas en el servicio y además tuvimos a 2 invitados (les envio sus fotos).

Los dias Miercoles y jueves (como ustedes saben) los utilizamos para clases de maduración y clases de canto.

Peace, mercy, and grace of God our Father and of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you.

This is the report of what has happened in the last few weeks.

April 3rd we had an attendance of 35 in the worship in addition to 2 guests (I am sending you photos.)

On Wednesday and Thursday (as you know) we have classes of maturity and singing class.

Pero algunos hermanos quieren estudiar en el Intituto Latino Americano de Estudios Biblicos (ILEB) una sucursal de "SUNSET INTERNATIONAL BIBLE INSTITUTE" de esta manera estaré iniciando con estas 9 personas los estudios correspondientes para que al termino de 2 años ellos puedan recibir su titulo "Ministro del Evangelio" y puedan salir a evangelizar a otros lugares, más adelnate les estare dando más detalles sobre esto, por ahora por favor les ruego sus oraciones por la iglesia en Gto y tambien por otros lugares en donde se esta predicando la palabra.

But some of the brothers want to study in the Latin-American Institure of Biblical Studies  (in Spanish abbreviated "ILEB") a course from the Sunset International bible Institute.  Because of htis, I will be starting with these 9 people the correspondence studies so that at the end of 2 years they will be able to recieve the title "Minister of the Gospel" and can then leave to preach in other places.  Later on I will be giving you more details about this, but for now I ask you earnestly for your prayers for the church in Gto and also for other places where the Word is being preached.

Queridos hermanos en Cristo.


Este es el reporte de lo que paso este domingo 13 de Marzo.

Fuimos 32 personas en el servicio y tuvimos a 3 visitas (Yolanda, Marisela y Cintihia) la mas chica de ellas tiene 16 años y quiere estudiar conmigo, pido de sus oraciones por favor por ellas y por mi y la iglesia en Gto.

Dear brother and sisters in Christ:

This is the report of what went on this Sunday, March 13th.

There were 32 people attending the service and we had 3 visitors (Yolanda, Marisela, and Cinihia) and the youngest of these (16 years old) wants to study with me, and I ask for your prayers for them, for me, and for the church in Guanajuato.

Despues del servicio toda la iglesia tuvimos una comida en casa de una hermana y fue "muy bueno y cuan agradable es que los hermanos convivan en armonia, porque donde se da esta armonia, el Señor concede bendición y vida eterna"

After the worship, all of the church had a lunch at the house of one of the sisters and it was "very good and how pleasant it is that the brethren meet together in harmony, because where this harmony is, the Lord grants blessing and eternal life (Psalm 133:1,3)

Queridos hermanos en Cristo.


Que la Paz, Gracia y Misericordia de Dios Padre y de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con todos ustedes.

Este es el reporte de lo que ha pasado e la última semana.

Dia 22 y 23 vino a visitarnos y a predicar el hermano Les Ferguson.

Dia 26 como siempre tuvimos la clase de maduracion.

Dia 28 y 29 Reunión de la (A.R.) Asosiación Religiosa en Queretaro.

Dear brothers in Christ. That the peace, grace, and mercy of our Father God and of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you.


This is the report of what has happened in the past week.


The 22nd and 23rd brother Les Ferguson came to visit with us and to preach.


The 26th like always we had the class of maturing.


The 28th and 29th we had the reunion of the Religious Association in Queretaro.


Dia 29 Tuvimos nuestra primera reunión de mujeres en la iglesia en Gto (38 en total)

1. Gracias a Dios salio bien todo, las mujeres (todas) se involucraron en diferentes actividades, unas mujeres hicieron las manualidades de regalos (para las mujeres invitadas) se hicieron unas fundas para Biblias hechas a mano.

2. otras hermanas prepararon la comida. (Mole, Pollo, Arroz, Tortillas, Agua de sabor, Postre.)

3. El mensaje de la palabra de Dios fue por una hermana de E.E.U.U (Texas) que se llama Carla Borja y otra hermana de el paso texas que se llama Margaret Lee ambas hermanas muy fieles a la palabra de Dios.

4. Los varones tambien trabajaron en este evento. (Unos cuidaron a los niños, otros sirvieron la comida, y al termino de todo el evento los varones hicieron la limpieza para el dia siguiente (domingo).

On the 29th we had our first Ladies' Day in the church in Guanajuato (38 women in all)


1. thanks be to God that everything came out well. The women (all) were involved in different activities: some of the women made handcrafts as gifts (for the women who were guests)...they made some hand-made Bible covers.


2. Other sisters prepared the food (mole, chicken, rice, tortillas, flavored water, and dessert)


3. The message from the word of God was by a sister from Texas in the United States who is named Carla Borja, and by another sister from El Paso, Texas, Margaret Lee. Both are sisters very faithful to the word of God


4. The men also worked on this event. Some card for the children, others served the food, and at the end of the event the men cleaned everything to get ready for the next day, Sunday.

5. Del dia lunes 31 al viernes 4 las mujeres de Guanajuato serán enseñadas a evangelizar (cara a cara) Carla les esta enseñando a perder el miedo de hablar a las personas de Cristo, y esto es algo que nuestras mujeres habian estado esperando desde hace un buen tiempo.

From Monday the 31st until Friday the 4th the women of Guanajuato will be taught to evangelize, face to face. Carla is teaching them how to loose their fear of talking to people about Christ, and this is something that our women have been waiting for for a long time.

 I am sending you some photos of what is happening.

Queridos hermanos en Cristo.


Este es el reporte de lo que ha pasado en esta semana.

Gracias a Dios seguimos teniendo clases de Maduración-Discipulado con los varones y las mujeres, ayer fuimos en la clase 12 personas y gracias a Dios los varones siguen muy animados a trabajar en la iglesia.

This is the report of that has happened this week.  Thanks be to God we continue having classes of Maturation/Discipling with the men and women.  Yesterday there were 12 people in the class.  Thanks to God that the men continue to be very excited about working in the church.

Queridos hermanos en Cristo


Este es el reporte de lo que paso este domingo 9 de enero.

Fuimos en el servicio 31 personas.

La mala noticia es que a la hermana Leti le descubrieron 2 "bolitas" abajo del pecho y esto la tiene muy preocupada (recuerden que hace poco la operaron, pues ella tiene cancer).

This is the report of what happened Sunday, January 9.

There were 31 people in attendance at the service.\

Some bad news is that they discovered 2 lumps below the chect of sister Leti, and this worries her alot (remember that a short time ago she had surgery because she has cancer.)


El sabado 22-23 estará con nosotros el hermano Les Ferguson MS, viene a visitar a las demas iglesia y estarán 2 dias con nosotros..

Estas son las noticias por el momento.

Saturday the 22nd untilt eh 23rd, our brother from Mississippi, Les Fegurson, will be with us.  He is coming to visit the other churches (in the area) and they will be with us for 2 days.

el sabado 29 de enero será la primera reunión de mujeres que tendremos en la iglesia en Gto, estan invitadas las congregaciones de San Miguel de Allende, Comonfort, Leon, y Queretaro. estamos esperando una asistencia de mas de 50 mujeres, pido sus oraciones por este evento y por las personas involucradas.

p.s.  Saturday, January 29th will be the first ladies meeting that we will have in the church in Gto.  The congregations in San Miguel de Allende, Comonfort, Leo, and Queretaro are invited.  We are hoping for an attendance of more than 50 women.  I ask for you prayers por this event and for all those involved.

Early 2011

Queridos hermanos en Cristo.


Que la Paz, Gracia y Misericordia de Dios Padre y de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con todos ustedes.

Dear brothers in Christ: May the peace, grace, and mercy of Father God and our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you.

Estamos llenos de agradecimiento a Dios por habernos cuidado en estos dias (pasados) de vacaciones, fuimos a Manzanillo (Colima) lugar de bellas playas. estuvimos del lunes a Vienes (27-31 de Diciembre)

We are full of thanksgiving to God for having cared for us in the recent days of vacation.  We went to Manzanillo (colima), a place of beautiful beaches.  We were there from Monday to Friday (December 27-31.)

El sabado a las 11:00 a.m. ya estabamos regresando a Gto cuando tuvimos un horrible accidente en la carretera, casi estuvimos a punto de voltear la van. (se rompio la flecha de la direccion del lado derecho) Nuevamente le doy la gracias a Dios por cuidarnos.

Estuvimos en la carretera parados por cerca de 5 horas.

Saturday at 11:00am we were returning to Guanajuato when we had a horrible accident on the highway.  We were almost to the point of flipping the van (one of the steering rods broke.)  Again, I give thanks to God for protecting us.

We were stuck on the  highway for nearly 5 hours.

Una patrulla de la policia federal de caminos nos ayudo a llegar a una caseta de cobro y alli un mecanico de los llamados "angeles verdes" nos ayudo y despues de 5 horas más pudimos llegar a Guadalajara.

One of the Federal Police highway patrolmen helped us to get the van to a safer holding place and there a mechanic (they are called "the green angels" helped us and 5 hours later we were able to arrive in Guadalajara.  (note: they were stuck in Guadalajara - about 3 hours from Guanajuato - waiting for repairs)

Domingo 2 de enero

Los hermanos en la iglesia se reunieron y tuvieron servicio como siempre

Uno dirigio los cantos y otro la cena y ofrenda y otro la predicación así que aunque no pudimos estar fisicamente, la iglesia sí se reunió..

Sunday, January 2nd,  The brothers and sisters met and had the worship service as always.  One brother led songs, another brother did communion and the offering, and another gave the sermon, and even though we were not able to be there in person, the church met anyway.

Lunes 3 de enero.

fui a comprar las piezas que necesitaba la van a un "yonkee" y finalmente a las 6:00 p.m la camioneta ya estaba arreglada.

Monday, January 3rd.

I went to buy the pieces that the "Yankee" van needed and at last around 6pm the van was fixed.

Martes 4 de Enero salimos de Guadalajara a las 9:30 a-m. y llegamos a Guanajuato a las 2:30 p.m (5 horas tardamos en un viaje de tan solo 3) la camioneta no puede correr a mas de 60-80 kilometros por Hora), pero finalmente ya estamos en casa.

Tuesday, January 4th we left Guadalajara at 9:30 am and arrived in Guanajuato at 2:30pm (it took us 5 hours to make a 3 hour trip.) The van couldn't go more than 60-80 kilometers per hour, but finally we were home.

Muchas gracias por el tiempo que utilizaste para leer este correo, pero estan son las cosas que nos pasaron el principio de año.
