Queridos hermanos en Cristo.


Este es el reporte de lo que paso este domingo 30 de mayo del 2010

Fuimos 20 personas y lamentablemente algunos no han venido (no se porque y otros por trabajo)

Dear brothers in Christ,
This is the report of what ahppened Sunday, May 30, 2010.  There were 20 people in attendance and sadly some have not come (Some I don't know why and others due to their jobs.)
Sin embargo hemos tenido visitas en la clase de jovenes (los viernes con Lee) y tambien los domingos despues de el servicio los jovenes (Lee, Marisela, Brenda, Marijo, Miriam) fueron a visitar unos museos y despues fueron a comer "Carnitas" y las demas mujeres se fueron a comer a Silao unos camarones (Josefina, Maria, Sebastiana, Paolita y Vicky) y nosotros invitamos a comer en nuestra casa a Alberto y Veronica, junto con sus dos hijos y ademas 2 niñas de la iglesia que se quedaron con Annie (ellos estan estudiando del bautizo y pienso que pronto se convertirán) pasamos una tarde agradable y llena de mucho ruido pero felices.

Nevertheless we have had visitors in the youth class (Fridays with Lee) and also Sunday after the service the youth (Lee, Marisela, Brenda, Marijo, Miriam) went to visit some museums and afterwards went to eat carnitas.  Some of the women (Josefina, Maria, Sebastiana, Paolita, and Vicky) went to Silao to eat some shrimp, and we were invited Alberto and Veronica and their two kids to eat in our house with us.  Also, 2 girls from the church had a sleepover with Annie.  They (Alberto and Veronica)  are styudying about baptism and I think they will soon be converted.  We had a great afternoon - full of noise, but happy.
Sin embargo tambien debo pedir de sus oraciones por la Hermana Rosita y Valentin, ellos han estado pasando por muchas dificultades (Infidelidades, falta de trabajo, y problemas familiares) y eso ha impedido que se reunan a la iglesia, desde el bautismo de rosita no han venido a los servicio dominic ales y los dias miercoles que nos reunimos a estudiar ellos demuestran frialdad y falta de compromiso.

Eso me tiene preocupado y triste.

Por favor oren por ellos.

Also I should ask for your prayers for sister Rosita and Valentin.  Thery are having many troubles (unfaithfulness, lack of work, and family problems) and this has kept them from meeting with the church.  Since Rosita's baptism she has not come to Sunday service and on Wednesdays that we meet to study she seems weak and lacking purpose.  This is making me worried and sad.  Please pray for them.


Hot tengo una cita a las 11.00 de la mañana con una persona que me enseñará un lugar para reunirnos como iglesia, esta cerca del centro y espero envirles las fotos.

Today I have an appointment at 11am with a person who will show me a place where we can meet as a church.  The place is close to downtown and I hope to send you some photos.

May 16, 2010 - 3 new sisters !!

Este es el reporte de lo que paso este domingo 16 de Marzo del 2010

Fuimos en el servicio 25 personas y despues en el convivio tuvimos a 6 invitados.

Dear Christian Brethren:  This is the report of what happened this Sunday, May 16, 2010.  There were 25 people in attendance at the worship and afterwards in our fellowship we had 6 visitors.

Muchas gracias les doy a Dios por todo lo que esta haciendo en la obra misionera en Gto.

Nuevamente despues de haber estado estudiando sobre el bautizo, Maria y Maricela decidieron despues de Cree, Confezar, Arrepentirse y Batizarse para el perdón de sus pecados hacer de Jesucristo su Señor y doblaron sus rodillas ante Él.

We give many thanks to God for all that He is doing in the missionary work in Gto.  After having a study about baptism, Maria and Maricela decided to believe, cofess, repent, and be baptized for the forgiveness of their sins to make Jesus Christ their Lord and bow their knees before him.

Esta decisión la tomaron en la semana despues del estudio del martes; Y el domingo fue el dia señalado para su bautismo sin embargo (Dios como siempre) tuvimos otro bautizo, pues resulta que Paolita despues de escuchar la predicación Dios toco su corazon y ella decidió tambien bautizarse (Ella tambien ha estudiado sobre el bautismo desde hace algun tiempo) y por eso nos regocijamos de la forma en que Dios esta trabajando en su obra en Guanajuato.

They made their decision during the week after our Tuesday study, and Sunday was the decided day for their baptism.   Nevertheless (God was working as always) we had another baptism. After hearing the preaching, God touched Paolita's heart and she decided to be baptized (she had been studying about baptism for some time) and because of this we rejoice in the way that God is doing His work in Guanajuato.
Los bautizos tuvieron lugar en una picina (alberca) publica y en donde tambien estuvieron gentes extrañas incluyendo a los 6 invitados de los cuales 2 algunas veces han venido a los servicios y los otros 4 todavia no.

Oramos y pedimos tambien de sus oraciones para que Dios continue enviando a gente que de verdad y corazón sincero busquen a Él y como dice la Biblia "Dios no tarda su pronesa como algunos lo entienden sino que es paciente con nosotros porque Él no quiere que ninguno muera sino que todos lleguen al arrepentimiento"

We had the baptisms in a public pool where there were strangers including 6 of our visitors, of which 2 have come to worship from time to time and 4 have not yet come.

We pray and we ask also for your prayers that God will continue sending people of truth and sincere heart that seek God.  As the Bible says, "God doesn't delay His promise as some understand it, but rather He is patient with us, because He doesn't want anyone to die but rather that all would come to repentance."
Ruego a Dios que me permita seguir trabajando para Él y que siga en sanchando mi territorio con más estudios cada dia.

Muchas gracias por sus oraciones, su ayuda economica y su confianza.

I ask that God permits me to keep working for Him and that he will continue expanding my territory with more studies every day.

Queridos hermanos en Cristo.


Este es el reporte del servicio dominical del 2 de abril del 2010.

Fuimos 27 personas y nuevamente estamos muy animados y contentos de lo que esta pasando en la iglesia, estamos estudiando con varias personas que quieren bautizarse y tambien estoy estudiando con otras gentes que todavia no vienen a la iglesia, sin embargo les pido sus oraciones para que Dios nos permita seguir creciendo.
 
Dear brothers in Christ: This is the report of the worship service of (May) 2, 2010.  There were 27 people in attendance, and again we are very excited and pleased with what is happening in the church. We are studying with varous people who want to be baptized, and also we are studying with other people who aren't coming to the church.  I ask for your prayers that God will permit us to continue growing.
